The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and friendly. The rooms are very nice, very nice bed, great bathroom. Love the spa on the top floor. Breakfast is expensive for the quality, but convenient.

For the price, the breakfast could have been better.

Large room and bed. Very clean and modern. Onsen and sauna were small but nice.

For the price the location is not so convenient. Avoid the restaurant, I had the buffet lunch and the food is not placed on heaters so everything is cold. Then I found a piece of steel wire in the salmon that I was about to eat. Morning onsen closes at 9am, a bit too early.

Staff was friendly and helpful.Hotel room was clean, decent size, beds were comfy and shower was great.Hotel wifi was decent.Hotel location is also decent for busses, most of the time you're either walking 5-10 min after getting off the bus or you get off right in front of it.Hotel also has restaurant at first floor and you can order from their menu whenever you want until evening.

There is nothing bad to say about unless I nitpick but my dislike was small selection of buffet food for western breakfast.

The rooms were nice as well as the facilities

The staff were so rude and condescending. I am a younger man and they would give me bad looks ask if I was lost and were just terrible. Apparently standing in the lobby of my own hotel is a bad thing. I also went to see what was in the breakfast buffet and they kicked me out. In my own hotel. This was the most rude a staff has even been at a hotel I have stayed and it was very frustrating to be treated so poorly as if I was a delinquent. I maintained a respectful demeanor despite this and was still met with nothing but rudeness and nasty looks. I will never recommend this hotel and strongly advise that young people avoid staying here due to the terrible treatment I received for absolutely no reason. To be denied access to a buffet in a hotel I paid for by the staff is beyond disrespectful. Do not stay here if you are younger, it is not worth people being mean to you. I would recommend finding another hotel instead. Staff were 0/10. If I could rate lower I would.

Location is a little far from the subway. Smoking room is outside and very small.

Nice facilities

Very hard to get around with limited access to public transit. That said it’s close to a couple of bus stops, but I still couldn’t recommend just for the pure reason of it being too inaccessible

The beds very comfy, shower excellent, clean throughout.

There's no room for luggage storage in room and it was hard to get the room temp and humidity right , there should be clear I sturctions how to use the controls in English as well as Japanese . And there was no iron for clothes. There could be more room if the beds were smaller single size.

Dirty and over priced

It was extremely dirty and dusty and found black hairs everywhere

Enjoyed that we got the breakfast and my bf liked that they had a gym. The hotel does offer luggage forwarding for us which was so helpful for us.

Our family of three had a wonderful stay in the Deluxe King Room at Urban Hotel Kyoto Gojo Premium. The room felt spacious for a city hotel in Japan, and the king-sized bed was perfectly comfortable for the three of us after long days of exploring. We found the location to be incredibly convenient, with Kyoto Station and major bus stops just a short walk away, which made sightseeing very straightforward. The room was kept clean, and having a small refrigerator was a nice touch for storing drinks and snacks. The staff at the front desk were always polite and helpful. We found it to be a very comfortable and practical base for our family's trip to Kyoto.

I have 2 weeks in Japan I been in several hotels and I have to say this was the best hotel on my vacation. The facilities were amazing, spacious rooms, breakfast excellent.

Great price and helpful staff.

The room would get a bit musky after returning from a day out, if the dehumidifier was not turned on. And same smell over night. If you have sensitive skin, you may develop hives or an allergic reaction after using the public onsen.

Location, size of the room, excellent bathroom and cleanliness

Staff is really not having a passion for their job, from front desk to kitchen staff. Not any warm welcome feeling. No extra miles attitude.
